Totally Vegan By Charlie is the brain child of Charlie, who went vegetarian when she was 12 before transitioning to vegan a couple of years after that.
Over the years, Charlie developed recipes that she could always have on hand – for example, the Cherry Banana Bread was always in the freezer for that healthy, sweet fix.
This wholemeal loaf with no oil or refined sugar was such a hit amongst Charlie’s friends that they started asking to buy it from her. Amongst these orders was a friend of a friend, who asked Charlie to make up some loafs and a few other vegan treats to sell at her market stall — and this is how the cheesecakes and cupcakes were born.
Word quickly spread about the treats that could be modified to suit nearly every dietary requirement, such as gluten free, sugar free, FODMAP friendly — and of course, they are always vegan.
